Delicious Home-Cooked Meals with Google Home • Mirror Daily

Google Home will make cooking seem like child’s play.

What’s the best way to cook a bowl of pasta or maybe some shrimps? If you don’t know the answer to this one, then maybe you should ask a professional. No, we weren’t referring to a chef or to someone who knows his way around the kitchen, we were, of course, pointing out Google’s latest Home featured called recipes. Recently launched, this new function grants you access to over 5 million recipes, taken from some of the most prestigious online food publications such as Food Network, New York Times, and Bon Appetite.

What’s New with Google Home?

Alexa’s main competitor seems to do whatever it takes in order to get ahead of the curb, the recent recipe feature being an excellent example. With Google Home, you will now be able to cook easy meals in the comfort of your own kitchen without having to rely on calling friends for indications or having to figure out what’s missing from the recipe you found in an old magazine.

As mentioned, Google Home feature over 5 million recipes from all over the world, recipes that include both time-honored meals such as mac and cheese or Italian meatballs and exquisite ones. What’s even more awesome is that this feature is free to download and to use.

How Can I Use Google Home to Cook for My Family and Friends?

Nine out of ten times we’d rather opt for catering or going to eat at a restaurant instead of trying out a recipe. But with Google Home, you won’t have any trouble preparing outlandish and delicious meals. The magic starts with the virtual assistant’s companion application, which can be downloaded for free from either Android’s Google Play Store or iOS’s online store.

Now, to start cooking, you merely have to search for a recipe, choose the one that catches your eyes, and transfer it to you Google Home device. After that, you just have to tell the device to start cooking, and you’re set to go.

Alternatively, you can ask Google Home directly to search for recipes. As an authentic chef’s assistant, Google Home will help you every step of the way. For example, you can tell it to repeat instructions, transformed measurement units, or to set a timer for each step. Moreover, you can also ask Google Home about the best place to buy the ingredients needed for the recipe and, even more awesome, to ask it to order them for you.
