Is Apple TV Coming This September? • Mirror Daily

The new Apple TV set was first announced a year ago.

Seeing the new launching event invitations, we cannot help but wonder: is Apple TV coming this September? Our question will most likely remain unanswered as Apple likes to torment its customers by keeping everything as mysterious as possible.

The emails that the iPhone maker has recently sent suggest that there will be many discussions about the future improvements that will be brought to Siri. The envelope were designed as voice commands for Apple’s service asking Siri to give participants the latest hints on the September 9 launching event.

When asked about it Siri simply replied that there will be a major announcement during Apple’s September event. The real question that everyone will like to see answered has a lot to do with the new Apple TV set.

The last Apple TV set was launched in 2013 and no major updates have been released since 2012, which explains customers’ anxiety for the launching of a new generation. Apple’s WWDC conference this spring was supposed to end customers’ grief, but the smartphone maker decided to postpone the launching due to unexpected license problems.

In the meantime, many more rumors have surfaced hinting to some of the new features that will be added on the new generation of TV sets. According to tech savvies, the new model will have an upgraded iOS 9 version and will also be compatible with the Siri voice assistant.

Major changes are expected in point of design, as well. Apple has previously hinted that they plan to make their TV sets much more modern and slimmer, in keeping with the looks of smart technology. Remote control features are said to rely heavily on touchscreen technology, but none of these rumors have been confirmed.

Tech analysts and customers expect developers to launch the new Apple TV series during this September’s event. Yet, the company has a history of making unexpected changes, so nothing is really taken for granted. With the new iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus at the center of attention we can’t tell whether Apple will make it in time to introduce the new Apple TV or not.

What we do know is that the event will be held on September 9 at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. This location is much bigger than the Yerba Buena Theatre where launching events were held in the past. The new auditorium can host up to 7,000, so we assume Apple is expecting many guests to confirm their presence at the show.
