LG Launches G Watch Urbane • Mirror Daily

A recent press release issued by the smartphone maker reveals that LG launches G watch urbane to consolidate its position on the market of smartphone accessories. The new wearable is a modernized version of the previous smartphone accessory featuring many options that analysts believe were lacking at the previous products.

The new G Watch Urbane comes to improve the LG Watch R that the smartphone manufacturer released months ago. The new product offers improved services and it was, therefore many times compared to its predecessor Watch R even though analysts claim the two are so distinct they barely resemble one another.

Customers, who might be willing to test or even purchase the new LG watch will be surprised by the new features that the new product holds in store for them. Based on the company’s declaration, the G Watch has a 1.3-inch P-OLED (plastic OLED) display with a 320 x 320-pixel resolution.

Although the measures are similar to the ones of its predecessor, analysts claim the new watch appears brighter in direct sunlight and is, therefore, easier to read. Moreover, the P-OLED display is much easier to maintain then the crystal display that was embedded on the Watch R watches.

The technical characteristics of the new watch are more or less similar to the ones of the previous models. The G Watch has a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, a total capacity of 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage volume.

Unlike Watch R, the G version is no longer dull and unreliable as customers have put it, so far. LG has taken all necessary measures to deal with customers’ discontent; therefore, they have replaced the plastic body of the watch with a stainless steel body. Moreover, the new product is available in two main colors, silver and gold, as LG wants an urbane look for its new smartphone accessory.

While the aforementioned tech specifications do not make the G watch different than the Watch R, developers assure us there are many reasons for customers to change their old model with the new version.

First of all, the G Watch Urbane has been provided with Wi-Fi connection.

Second of all, the smartphone wearable is 20 grams lighter than the older R Watch. At the same time, the bulky design makes it perfect both for people with smaller and larger wrists.

Thirdly, the G Watch is said to resist under water due to its P-OLED display and stainless steel body. Although the company guarantees dust and water resistance, developers do not recommend people to test the watches under these circumstance for a long period of time.

Many of the improvements that LG’s new G Watch presently holds come from the fact that Google, too, has improved its services. The new urbane model has an overall improved efficiency and battery resistance, but new models might soon be released on the market due to Google’s new operating services.
