BioShock was declared one of the best games in all time. and all of the three installments are epic.
(Mirror Daily, United States) – The internet is roaring as a Brazil rating hints at a BioShock remaster. The BioShock trilogy collection was rated in Brazil for PlayStation 3 and 4, Xbox One and 360 and PC. Fans of the one of the greatest games in the history of gaming are hopeful that the Brazil rating hints at a BioShock remaster.
There have been several rumors in the past that hinted at a complete remaster of the BioShock trilogy for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but this time, the fans are convinced that the Brazil rating is the sign they were waiting for.
For the moment, there is no official confirmation of the remaster, but it wouldn’t be the first time when 2K Games releases a complete remaster of a series. Just last year, “The Handsome Collection” from Borderlands was re-released for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
If you have been living in a cave until now and you haven’t tried to play at least one of the BioShock installments, then here are the main things you have to know about the George Orwell, Ayn Rand inspired first-person shooter, role-playing, horror survivor game.
You are the survivor of a plane crash that ends up in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. After you manage to get out of the plane you spot a small island with a lighthouse on it. You swim towards the island, go to the lighthouse and find a sort of elevator. This is not your garden-variety elevator, but a transportation unit to a secret underwater city called Rapture.
Rapture is The City to live in. It’s the place where mad scientists go to perform experiments that are not legal, or moral on the surface. It’s also the place where people go in order to escape the dullness of everyday life on Earth.
Rapture is built by, surprise, a mad scientist. He is also the creator of the Little Sisters, a sort of genetic experiment that doubles as the city’s guards and plasmids collectors.
The most interesting part of the game, apart from everything else, is the fact that the ending depends on the interaction that your character has with the Little Sisters. If all of the girls are protected by the player, then the ending is happy, the lived until old age, died in his bed kind. If the player wasn’t that nice to them, then Tenenbaum, the narrator starts ranting about stolen secrets, nuclear war and other misfortunes that the player must discover on his or her own.
The Brazil rating hints at a BioShock remaster and it is one of the best news in the world of gaming since Fallout 4 was announced.
