Nicki Minaj and Other 7 Celebrities Launch Their Own Mobile Games • Mirror Daily

Nicki Minaj will soon see her face turned into a game avatar.

Apple who? Google what? Nicki Minaj and other 7 celebrities launch their own mobile games proving serious developers they have what it takes to make it in the game industry. Following in the footsteps of Internet and reality TV sensation, Kim Kardashian, the famous stars have agreed to lend their images to Glu Mobile, the creator of other celebrity-inspired games.

Glu Mobile did not provide many details in relation to their new projects. If we were to draw a conclusion based on Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, their first game in the series, we would say that the next apps of the company would follow the same pattern. Yet, we doubt Glu Mobile can be twice as badly inspired.

In case you are not familiar with Kim Kardashian’s game, the mobile app is a weak replica of her even weaker reality TV series. Users have the possibility to command the Kim Kardashian lookalike avatar to perform various activities taking her from the status of a low Hollywood star to an A-list celebrity. Kind of like her own business manager planning photo sessions and negotiating contracts on her behalf.

There are many other celebrities who have agreed to sign deals with Glu Mobile for the development of new games. Nicki Minaj, Katty Perry and Jason Statham are just a few of the celebrities, who will see their faces turned into game avatars.

The exact dates for the launching of the new games have not been communicated yet; however, some hints have been provided. According to their official declaration, Nicki Minaj’s fans will have to wait until the summer of 2016 to test the app. The gaming apps inspired by Katy Perry and Jason Statham will both appear in the second part of 2015.

Many more details have been provided in relation to Jason Statham’s Glu Mobile app. Sources have stated that the name of the game is Sniper X: Kill Confirmed and is, in case you haven’t figured it out, yet, a first-person shooter. The action game is expected to trigger fans’ interest due to Statham’s unique fighting abilities.

Glu Mobile’s revenue has been significantly improved as the company has stated during their most recent declaration. The mobile developer reported $57.5 million profits, but incomes could get bigger once the new gaming apps are produced.
