New study reveals that married couple who have sex more often are more productive at the office.

It might sound like a rather unsavory jest, but a team of researchers discovered that the best way to enjoy your work is to have sex more often. A team of researchers from the Oregon’s State College of Business has discovered that married couples who fool around the bedroom more often are far more productivity in office matters compared to those who just hit the sack as soon as they come home from work.

It’s a well-established fact that sex is a natural anti-depressant and a mood enhancer. However, while the health perks of sex remain largely unknown, scientists have discovered that bedroom activities can have a positive impact on your career.

The new study which observes measures the impact of sexual intercourse on office efficiency has noted that married couples who decide to spice up things a little in the bedroom after returning from work are more productive at work compared to those who decide that sex is not a priority.

Keith Leavitt of the Oregon’s State College of Business, one of the study’s co-authors, declared that we shouldn’t easily dismiss the positive impact of sexual intercourse. Pointing out the fact that the average American adults are having sex more often compared to the other generations, the associated professor, said that either dismissing the importance of sexual intercourse or replacing it with something more artificial, like online pornography, can have severe implications.

More than often, Leavitt and his team of researchers hear about married couple complaining that work-related stress is the main reason why they’ve stopped messing around in the bedroom. The co-author said this is a vicious circle, one that entraps many couples.

Fortunately, there’s a simple way to crack open this puzzle – by having more sex. Leavitt pointed out that when it comes down to choosing between spending all energy on work and investing more time your intimate life, the choice must always be the same – to make more time for bedroom activities.

The researcher and his team have discovered that married couples who have decided to allocate more time to sexual activities are happier and more efficient at work.

In order to make this determination, Leavitt and his colleagues asked the help of approximately 160 married individuals. For the duration of the study, each couple was asked to pen down how many times they have sex in a week and how they rate their work performance the next day.

The results proved that couples who spent more time in the bedroom where more efficient at work the following day.
