Shenmue III Released Screenshots on Kickstarter • Mirror Daily

The visual component of the game will feature very high quality graphics.

(Mirror Daily, United States) – Yesterday Shibuya Productions had a presentation at this year’s MAGIC conference. During the talk, the game developer also revealed some new material from the upcoming third installment of the Shenmue franchise. For those who were not able to attend MAGIC, Shenmue III released screenshots on Kickstarter as well.

There are still very few details revolving the story of the third installment of the action anime video game. Shibuya Productions only released stills showing the main character walking around in generic landscape or performing some kind of firefly magic, as you can see in the trailer embedded at the end of the article.

Shenmue III released screenshots on Kickstarter yesterday and they look amazing. The graphic details are incredible, the colors are vibrant and the overall tone of the screens suggests a very high-quality visual experience.

We still don’t know yet if the entire game will feature a consistent 30 FPS frame rate as Yu Suzuki, the creator of the Shenmue series, promised on the Kickstarter page, but the stills look highly promising.

Of course, as was the trailer, the pictures are marked with a “work in progress” tag, so if any detail-oriented fans observe some problems they should rest assured. Although the pictures look very thoughtfully and attentively created.

Shenmue III released screenshots on Kickstarter and it wasn’t just a teaser meant for the fans. The game’s main creator, Yu Suzuki, declared that he needs additional funds in order to offer the players the best visual experience of their life.

State-of-the-art graphics are a welcoming plus in any game, but it feels like Suzuki is focusing a lot of his attention on the visual part of the game.

For the moment, the creators have not offered any detail about the gameplay that the Shenmue III will feature. All fans know is that the battling system for the AI will be more fluid.

The trailer and the screenshots look intriguing, indeed, but players are waiting to be teased with a little game action as well.

The previous two games told the story of Ryo Hazuki, a teenager who is skilled in the martial arts. His self-given mission is to revenge his father’s murder that took place in the Yokosuka province in Japan.

Shenmue is an open-world adventure game. When it was released in the 2000s, the game was praised for adding new elements to open world games like weather effects, minigames, a day and night system and non-player characters.

Shenmue III released screenshots on Kickstarter, and as you can see, they look amazingly promising.
